About the role
Symmetric Health Solutions is looking for an account executive to help our customers realize never before seen efficiencies with healthcare supply chain data. This role will be responsible for managing key accounts' end-to-end sales lifecycle.
The account executive will work directly with the rest of the sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of our customers, navigate the Customer's organization, drive effective Discovery calls, provide compelling product demonstrations, negotiate contracts, and close business.
This role is responsible for:
- Prospecting
- Lead qualification
- Discovery
- Identifying customer needs and solution value proposition
- Establishing customer buy-in
- Negotiating contracts
- Closing new business
- Managing customer relationships
- Managing a portfolio of closed accounts
- Providing quarterly business reviews
- Ensuring customer value realization
- Identifying and executing on opportunities to expand customer value
- Closing renewals
- Continuously improving customer journey and sales operations

We are looking for:
- 5+ years experience in an account executive, sales or consulting role
- 5+ years experience working in the healthcare industry
- Demonstrated ability to effectively close new business and manage client relationships
- Demonstrated data management and analytics capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to present to both technical and business audiences
- A motivated self-starter
- The drive to take over project timelines and deliverables
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
Skills that would be nice to have:
- Experience working with any healthcare IT infrastructure
- Experience with supply chain IT or management
- Experience with medical devices or clinical supplies
- Experience performing data analysis using SQL
- Experience with any and all programming applications
- Certifications related to the healthcare industry such as Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA), Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HISPP), etc.
- Certifications with popular healthcare technology systems such as Infor, Workday, Oracle, Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
Additional requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (sciences, engineering, computer science, etc.)
- Authorized to work in the US
